The conservationist’s continuous medical odyssey continues with the emergency operation.After more than ten years of suffering in seclusion, she finally disclosed her endometriosis diagnosis back in March 2023.
“The only people who knew that I was incredibly unwell… my husband, my mom, and my brother, and behind closed doors
I was struggling to do anything and everything,” she said in an interview with the A Life of Greatness podcast earlier this year.
She claimed that doctors frequently ignored her symptoms for ten years, attributing them to hormones, IBS, or just being a woman.
“It took me a very long time to find help, and the symptoms kept getting worse. It’s a story that many women and girls are all too familiar with,” Bindi said.
