A “chocolate cyst” and 37 lesions were discovered by physicians when she finally had surgery for endometriosis.
“Every part of my life was getting torn apart because of the pain,” Bindi wrote in a note to her admirers at the time.
In summary, they discovered 37 lesions, including a chocolate cyst and those that were deeply embedded and challenging to remove.
“When I was in recovery, the doctor asked me, ‘How did you live with this much pain?'” It’s indescribable to feel validated after years of suffering,” she continued.
At the 2024 Blossom Ball in New York City, Bindi became the first person from around the world to receive the EndoFound Blossom Award for her work advocating for women’s health in May of this year.
Robert remarked, “I think it’s really important to prioritize getting help, and Indi has become an incredible advocate for women’s health in particular.”
Bindi’s message—that health should always come first—remains evident despite her disappointment at missing the event.
