Following Donald Trump’s “five-word” assessment of her service, the bishop who pleaded with him to “have mercy” on immigrants and LGBTQ+ individuals has answered.
On Monday, January 20, the 79-year-old formally took the oath of office as the 47th President of the United States. Trump signed a number of contentious executive orders on his first day back.
In the White House, one of which was headed “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government.”
The directive states that there are only “two genders” that are considered unchangeable and rooted in reality, according to the White House website.
“Each agency and all Federal employees shall enforce laws governing sex-based rights, protections, opportunities, and accommodations.
