On Facebook, Luke shared the agony of having to tell his children their mother wasn’t coming home:
“It broke me… The harsh reality of coming home and the world still spinning as if nothing has happened is horrible.
The realisation of becoming mum and dad, packing her clothes away for the last time, and the deafening silence when the kids are asleep.”
Ongoing Investigation and Fundraising Effort
The hospital in Turkey, which remains unnamed, is now reportedly under investigation for possible medical negligence and ethical violations.
The GoFundMe campaign has raised over £130,000 to help cover medical costs and ensure Beth is fully repatriated.
The family insists they will not rest until they receive clear answers about what happened to Beth — and her missing heart.
“All of her deserves to come home,” the fundraiser states.
