Bruce Springsteen performed in front of thousands of people in Manchester, England, on Wednesday.
The artist, who was just kicking off a run of local gigs, took some time to criticize the current White House administration in addition to showcasing his own career.
The artist wasn’t shy in criticizing President Donald Trump’s policies, especially because emotions in America have been at an all-time high in recent months.
However, vocalist Kid Rock expressed his own opinions about Springsteen while garnering fan support. The drama began when Springsteen told the audience during his performance,
“The mighty E Street Band is here tonight to call upon the righteous power of art, of music, of rock and roll in dangerous times.” Kid Rock then forced his way into the discourse.
A corrupt, inept, and treacherous government today controls the America I love, the America I have written about, and which for 250 years has been a ray of liberty and hope in my homeland.
