The acting head teacher at the Merrill Academy, Paul Beedle, admitted that a kid was hurt in what he meticulously characterizes as a “single incident.”
He continued by saying that incidents like these hardly ever occur at the school and that the attacker was dealt with in accordance with the academy’s behavior policy.
Every parent has been made aware of these procedures and is kept informed when they are carried out.
Although no arrests have been made as of yet, the Derbyshire Police have visited Nathaniel’s family and are conducting investigations into the attack.
