Carrie Underwood’s Tragic Death Speaks to Our Souls

Her career began in obscurity. When she made the declaration in 2019, she and the band members acknowledged that they had no idea what they were doing in an interview with The Guardian.

Nevertheless, as shown by his current status as one of country music’s top artists, everything worked out in the end. The new track from Carrie Underwood’s album Cry Pretty,

“The Bullet,” addresses the terrible and contemporary problem of mass shootings. The vocalist is certain that the song is not meant to be political, however.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the song focuses on those who are immediately affected by such tragedies rather than developing an opinion piece or expressing societal critique.

A shooting is mentioned in “Love Wins,” another song from Cry Pretty. In order for her fans to relate, Underwood feels that it’s critical to create songs about catastrophes that really happen in real life.

Unlike other artists, she still feels uncomfortable falling into any one genre and is not compelled to share every detail of her personal life with the world.
