Chance Gainer, a high school football standout, collapsed during a game in Florida and died at the age of 18.

Following Friday night’s tragic fall and death of a high school player in Port St. Joe, football fans in Florida are in a state of sorrow.

After a rapid fall, 18-year-old Chance Gainer was taken to the hospital, but the senior was subsequently declared dead.

It was stated that coaches raced to the side of the wide receiver on the field, but unfortunately, they were unable to save his life.

In an instant announcement, the Liberty High School game was stopped, with the rescheduling of next week’s game already finalized (WMBB).

Gainer was called by Jim Norton, the superintendent of Gulf County, “one of the best young men ever to walk the halls at Port St. Joe High School.”
