Classmate throws slice of cheese at severely allergic 13-year-old kid, causing his death

Tragic events befell Karanbir Cheema on June 28, 2017, when he was a student in London, UK. Despite the teen’s severe food allergies—which include dairy, wheat, gluten, eggs, milk, and tree nuts—a fellow student threw a piece of cheese at him.

Even though Karanbir didn’t swallow the cheese, it nonetheless smacked the youngster on the neck and touched his flesh. He was taken to the hospital in a serious condition shortly after.

Unfortunately, Karanbir passed away at Great Ormond Street Hospital a few days subsequent to the accident.

It was determined afterwards that post-cardiac arrest syndrome was the cause of his death. The decision to remove Karanbir’s life-support system was made by the teenager’s parents.

On This Morning, his mom Rina recalled the terrifying moment they said goodbye, explaining that they didn’t want to turn it off since it wasn’t fair to his small body.
