It was evident that at least one protester believed that peeing and defecating into a bowl in a public place would be adequate, even though many would scarcely consider this to be a “decent manner” of urinating.
Volkswagen stated that they agreed with our freedom to demonstrate, but they denied our request for a bowl so that we could urinate and defecate properly while we were glued and the heater was off.
One of the demonstrators, Gianluca Grimalda, tweeted, “People in support can’t get out of the building.”
Grimalda clarified that “people in support” were free to leave the premises, but they would not be let to return if they did, according to The Blaze.
But it was unclear how he managed to tweet with his hand cemented to the ground.
