Cass and Kit rushed inside the tent to embrace their mother. When Kit first gave his mother a hug, he exclaimed,
“She stinks!” and he also had some important news to share with her. He said, referring to a football game: “I won City!” and she said, “Wonderful, did you score?”
A sobbing Coleen comforted an emotional Kit, who nodded, saying, “I’m crying because I’m happy, because I’ve missed you so much!”
With Cass putting on her jungle hat, Coleen lost little time in showing her mother and two brothers about the camp, including her bed, the dunny, and the Bush Telegraph.
However, Coleen continued her quest to become the jungle’s queen, and soon it was time for them to go once again.
