She gave the boys a tearful farewell hug and explained that it would only be a few more days till Christmas. While Coleen’s other boys, Kai, 15, and Klay, 11, remain at home,
Two of her sons, Kit, 8, and Cass, 6, have traveled to Australia to see her. Coleen gave the Mirror an explanation of the choice shortly before the show premiered:
“They all had the choice, but the two elder ones chose to remain at home and continue playing football and going to school.
They immediately changed their minds when I suppose I said that they would have to carry their work with them and that they would be missing certain football competitions.
Additionally, they are unsure of when they will be able to see me. Another major issue was that there wouldn’t be any time left with me if I remained until the very end, so I clarified that.
