Colin Farrell, an actor, finishes a marathon while pushing a wheelchair-bound pal.

After finishing a marathon while pushing a buddy in a wheelchair and earning an incredible amount of money for charity, Colin Farrell has won over hearts all around the world.

On Sunday morning, October 27, the 48-year-old Irish celebrity ran the Dublin Marathon among more than 22,000 other runners.

The Penguin star ran for Debra Ireland, a nonprofit organization that helps those with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), sometimes referred to as “butterfly skin,” a rare condition that makes the skin brittle and prone to blistering.

Farrell’s close friend Emma Fogarty, 40, who is the longest-surviving person with EB in Ireland, accompanied him for the last four kilometers of the run.

Her right arm and left foot were born without skin, and even the smallest contact causes painful blisters. One decade of Fogarty’s life with the skin ailment was symbolized by each kilometer the actor ran.
