His diagnosis was made a few weeks after his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, tried to dissolve their 14-year marriage in February 2018 and filed paperwork to halt the divorce procedures.
He spoke about it: “I was given an ALS diagnosis. As we go on into this new chapter, I am thankful to have my devoted family at my side.
“I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to set of Euphoria next week.”
Georgia Geraldine, 13, and Billie Beatrice, 15, are the couple’s two daughters. The Charmed star married Rebecca Gayheart in 2004.
His health issue has already been reported in the public; in 2023, Bryan Randall, Sandra Bullock’s longtime companion, passed away after a three-year, secret struggle with ALS.
“A disease of the nervous system that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord,” according to the Mayo Clinic, ALS results in a loss of muscular control and progressively worsens over time.
