The father facing murder charges for the death of his two-year-old daughter at the hands of a hot automobile was reportedly engrossed in his video game console when the tragic incident occurred.
Tragically, two-year-old Parker Scholtes passed away on July 9 after her father left her in a hot vehicle for more than three hours.
Arizona father-of-three Christopher Scholtes, 37, said he only left Parker napping in his 2023 Acura MDX for half an hour after returning from shopping so he wouldn’t wake her up.
While Christopher allegedly spent more than three hours playing video games on his Playstation, his frightened wife returned home to discover their daughter dead, according to court records.
