Kayla was kidnapped. Heather never came back from their camping trip, despite telling Ryan Iserka, Kayla’s father. Heather’s arrest warrant was upgraded to a felony.
The breakthrough occurred when an Asheville resident reported the case to the police after recognizing Kayla from Netflix’s “Unsolved Mysteries.”
Ryan Iserka praised fans and law police for getting him and Kayla back together. The next court date for Heather Unbehaun is Wednesday morning at the Kane County Judicial Center.
