Mark Wood, Victoria’s then-boyfriend, proposed to her shortly after she auditioned for the Spice Girls in 1994.
They encountered each other when she was a 14-year-old student at St Mary’s High School in Cheshunt, and he was employed by her parents’ electrical company.
Victoria was residing with Mark at his parents’ residence in Hertfordshire at the time.
However, just as the Spice Girls were beginning to achieve significant success, Posh resolved to terminate their six-year partnership.
