“There isn’t anything that will fill the hole that has been left by their, so far unexplained passing.” He stated with profound sadness that the pair will be “forever missed” and that he was grieving immensely.

Sable Island, located 290 kilometers offshore from Nova Scotia’s coast, was the site of the corpses’ discovery last week. What happened to bring their journey to a sad conclusion is still a mystery.

After the remains were found, local police reported that an investigation involving “multi-agency” agencies is now ongoing.

On their YouTube channel, Theros Adventures, the pair was recording their travels and highlighting their use of renewable energy sources including solar panels, wind turbines, and electric motors.

After modifying Theros by removing its diesel engine, they dubbed it the Green Odyssey, and their journey to the Azores was to be the first completely “green” voyage aboard the ship.
