Dead bodies of a couple washed up on island coast after they had been gone for 30 days

In 2019, they had to turn back because of storm predictions, so this wasn’t their first rodeo across the Atlantic.

Clibbery and Packwood posted a video on the day they sailed that showed them 16 nautical miles off the Nova Scotia coast, with calm seas and favorable breezes. It was their last video.

According to Saltwire, a Canadian news website, one possible explanation is that a passing cargo ship hit the boat without realizing it had happened.

Depending on the situation, “the sailboat crew were either unable to avoid collision or they could have been down below with Theros on automatic pilot,” an unidentified source said to Saltwire.

Despite the best efforts of the Canadian coastguard and military planes, the remains of the yacht have not been located.
