Scheuer pleaded guilty to two charges of fraud earlier this year, one involving computers and the other involving identification documents.
The judge gave him a 12-month prison sentence for that first count. He received 24 months for the second.
Although the judge decided that those sentences might run concurrently, those sentences will be served consecutively and will be followed by three years of supervised release for count one and one year for count two.
He is also mandated to reimburse Disney $687,786. David Haas, Scheuer’s attorney, told PEOPLE: “Mr. Scheuer is still regretful and apologizes to the victims.
When the judge crafted a sentence that was half of what the government was requesting, we are thankful that she heard all of our arguments and mitigation.
