Land of Bad has been steadily climbing the watching rankings on Netflix since its 18 July release. It’s no surprise, as the film is packed with the typical military action elements: explosions, brutal combat, and death-defying moments.
When Land of Bad originally opened in theaters earlier this year, it received varied reviews and subsequent responses.
One reviewer dubbed Land of Bad a “by-the-numbers action-thriller,” while the review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes now has it sitting at 65% among critics.
A 94% audience score, however, suggests that casual viewers are content to enjoy the tried-and-true formula of a military action film, which is where the film seems to be doing much better.
