Doctors warn that a 25-year-old gamer who spends too much time on his phone may acquire the dreaded “dropped head syndrome.”

The patient effectively withdrew from society after being subjected to “serious bullying,” quitting school and isolating himself in his room for a number of years.

He spent a lot of time playing games on his phone while he was alone himself, bending his neck profoundly to see down at the screen.

His physicians’ scans showed that his neck’s vertebrae had become displaced and deformed, causing scar-like tissue to gradually form in the spine.

Initially, doctors attempted to treat his dropped head condition by using collars, which are neck-worn medical devices that stabilize and support the head.

However, this treatment was discontinued since the patient reported feeling numb while wearing the devices.

Instead, a number of surgical techniques were chosen by the doctors.

Small portions of his vertebrae and some of the scar-like tissue that had grown in his neck were first removed.
