Donald Trump Does Not Intend to Run for President in 2028

 

since he would be eighty-two years old by then—many months older than even Joe Biden will be when he formally leaves office in January of next year.

Of course, if he prevails, Trump will not be able to run for president in ’28 anyhow—at least not without amending the U.S.

Constitution to remove the two-term restriction. It will be difficult for Trump to become the first president to win two non-consecutive terms in office since Grover Cleveland did it in 1892,

given that Kamala Harris is behind the former president in national surveys by the narrowest of margins.

We’ll have to wait and see whether or if this is indeed Donald’s last attempt at… and whether it succeeds.
