Harvard responded by adopting a firm position.
“What private universities can teach, who they can admit and hire, and what areas of study and inquiry they can pursue should not be dictated by any government, regardless of which party is in power.”
Harvard President Alan Garber wrote in a letter.
Garber stepped up and referred to the requests as a political ploy.
“It is evident that the goal is not to collaborate with us in a positive and cooperative way to combat antisemitism,” he stated.
