“Who’s going to warn him that the job he’s now seeking might just be one of those “Black jobs?” Michelle asked in a jab at the joke.
Michelle was, of course, alluding to Trump’s racially incendiary statement made during the first presidential debate back in June that immigrants are stealing Black jobs.
Michelle continued by endorsing Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee for president. She described the vice president as a respectable individual who has dedicated her life to serving the public good.
Michelle then gave way to Barack, who devoted a large portion of his address to demonizing Trump and characterizing him as a 78-year-old billionaire and conspiracy theorist who is always complaining about his own issues.
