Trump joked, “I’d like to be pope – that’d be my number one choice,” in response to reporters on the White House grounds asking him who he would like to be the next pope.

One user posted on Twitter: “A convicted pope.” “Let me guess, ‘I’d be a better pope than any past pope,'” remarked another.

A third person chuckled: “If he becomes pope, then perhaps there will be historic changes in the religious system.”
