Donald Trump called on Johnny Carson to return to ‘The Tonight Show’ 19 years after his death, apparently unaware of his passing.
The former president ridiculed late-night TV during a Pennsylvania rally Monday. Trump criticized Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show,’ calling it “dying.”
The Republican candidate questioned the audience, “Where’s Johnny Carson???” during his speech.
Trump repeated his demand, saying, “Bring back Johnny!!!” After years with emphysema, Carson died in January 2005.
