Due of disrespect in the United States, Bruce Springsteen and Robert De Niro have moved to Canada.

Conversation has given way to disrespect, and I no longer recognize the nation I have always cherished. I need some time away, but this isn’t a permanent farewell.

After years of advocacy and attempts to heal social divisions, many of which have elicited divisive responses, Springsteen made this decision.

The Impact of De Niro Earlier this month, Robert De Niro, a vocal opponent of several U.S. policies in recent years, announced his own intention.

To relocate to Canada. According to De Niro, the move is a personal reaction to the “toxic environment” that he feels has taken over the country.

“I adore America, but it has devolved into a place where shouting overrides logic and respect is extinct,” De Niro said. “Canada is a welcome change—a country where morals are still important.”

The fact that Springsteen’s statement came just after De Niro’s is no accident. The two heavyweights of culture have always respected one another.
