After being rendered “unrecognizable” by an explosion-related event, a Delta Airlines employee could only be recognized by his tattoos.
As previously reported, the incident at Delta TechOps, the airline’s maintenance and repair division, happened on Tuesday at about 5:00 AM. Major injuries were sustained by one person, and two persons died.
On a Delta aircraft, the personnel were replacing a tire when the tire suddenly blew, resulting in the deadly tragedy, according to Delta.
Delta stated that the materials were not linked to an aircraft at the time of the explosion and verified that the mishap included wheel components being removed for maintenance in a statement that Fox13 published.
Major Kelley Collier of the Atlanta Police Department said that upon getting a call about the explosion, emergency personnel arrived on the site without delay.
