During a campaign call with climate activists, Jane Fonda claims that the Harris-Walz ticket is the ‘sole chance’ to defeat the ‘orange guy’.

Prominent climate change advocates, including actress Jane Fonda, convened on Friday to promote the Harris-Walz campaign as “a proud climate ticket.”

Two years after the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 was signed into law, Climate Voters for Harris held a virtual conference call on Friday to talk about

“the historic accomplishments of the IRA.” We’ll hear advice on messaging and the most effective methods for Climate Voters to participate in the campaign.”

Behavioral scientist Sweta Chakraborty hosted the call and said that there was “palpable” enthusiasm around Harris’s nomination as the Democratic candidate.

TV personality Bill Nye and actress Fonda made famous cameos on the call as well. “Vote with climate in their hearts,” Fonda urged, saying that the Harris-Walz ticket is “our only hope.”

She informed the callers that “sitting it out, voting for a third-party candidate, this is voting for the orange man.”
