Ellen Degeneres sells the Montecito estate, moves to England, and declares, “I will never return to America.”

“She’s considering doing something more low-key, maybe a documentary series or an interview show with a more serious tone,” a person close to Ellen said. This is a reinvention, not a retirement.

Ellen’s passion of animals and the natural world has also grown stronger since moving to England. She has often discussed her love of protecting animals and her desire to live in an area where she may be in close proximity to environment.

She intends to devote more time to her own endeavors and charitable activity at her new home in England.

The star’s friends have observed that after making the move, she has a fresh feeling of calm and excitement for life.

According to reports, Ellen’s wife Portia has welcomed the move just as enthusiastically. This year marked the couple’s 15th wedding anniversary, and they are reportedly doing well in their new environment.
