Elliott Page has disclosed his response to being misgenderized. The 37-year-old Umbrella Academy star made her gender identity public in December 2020 with an emotional Instagram post.

The Juno actress said, “To all the trans people who deal with harassment, self-loathing, abuse, and the threat of violence every day:
I see you, I love you, and I will do everything I can to change this world for the better.” in response to the hardships and violence trans people experience.
