Wayans disclosed in the show his connection with Kai Wayans, his 24-year-old transgender son, whom he shares with his former girlfriend, Angela Zackery.
The comedian said that although he first found his son’s shift difficult, he eventually got over it, saying, “As difficult as it was,
I think that it’s not important.” The five phases of mourning are significant, and it’s crucial that you reached acceptance, in my opinion.
