Tensions within the government have escalated as a result of Musk’s reorganization initiatives via DOGE. One of the most recent events saw DOGE officials apparently storming.
The Department of Education and immediately terminating contracts and grants. Lawmakers have vehemently criticized these actions, especially those on the Democratic side.
“They are in the building, on the sixth floor, canceling grants and contracts,” said Representative Melanie Stansbury. It’s against the law.
They are aware that it is illegal. However, they continue to do it. The Department of Education would likely be “dissolved in the coming days,” she said.
