Elon Musk’s remarks after Kamala Harris’s formal presidential campaign launch

Posting a video of the former district attorney opening a meeting—and mentioning not just her preferred gender pronouns but also her attire—Elon Musk attacked Vice President Kamala Harris’s standing as the Democratic candidate in waiting for the presidency.

In 2022, at a roundtable discussion in the Eisenhower Executive Office building, Kamala Harris introduced herself as a lady sitting at the table wearing a blue suit. She identified herself with the pronouns she and her.

In the tape showing Harris chairing the meeting, Musk made a joke about “imagine four years of this…”

The meeting was on the impact of abortion restrictions on the handicapped community and drew many viewers who are visually impaired.

The 53-year-old Musk notoriously doesn’t care about gender pronouns, saying on X in July 2020: “Pronouns suck.”

Following this, he tweeted a few months later: “I fully endorse transgender people, but the current choice of pronouns is a total aesthetic disaster.”

One of the individuals who have criticized Musk for his assaults on pronouns is Mark Kelly, a senator from Arizona who is being considered as a potential running mate for Harris’ executive office.

‘Mock and propagate intolerance against’ LGBTQ individuals, the ex-astronaut warned Musk. A firm no from me. As for the question of pronouns,

Musk shot back that it’s cruel and unkind to force your own on others without their consent and to treat individuals who don’t agree as social outcasts.

Even if it was in the hypothetical 2024 race against President Joe Biden, Tesla creator Elon Musk has already stated his support for Donald Trump. It is quite doubtful that Musk would reconsider his position.

Just before Biden’s unexpected decision to not run was announced on Sunday, Musk took to Twitter to discuss his conversations with his “smartest friends” in San Francisco, who were excited to vote for Trump and JD Vance in November.

My ideal America is one that rewards hard work and personal liberty to its fullest extent. In a subsequent statement, he said, “That was the Democratic Party before, but the Republican Party has now seized the reins.”

Although Musk’s tweet was devoid of context, Graeme Wood of The Atlantic criticized Harris’ statements in 2022, writing:

“In fact the whole introduction gives the unfortunate impression that Harris thinks the blind are not only visually impaired but so uninformed about politics that they do not know whether the vice president is a woman and whether she uses sex-typical pronouns.”

Earlier this month, Musk confronted Harris, accusing the former prosecutor of fabricating Trump’s support for a nationwide abortion ban.

The statement from Harris continued, “President @JoeBiden and I will do everything in our power to stop him and restore women’s reproductive freedom,” after Trump’s threat to prohibit abortion nationally.

He made it quite plain throughout the argument that he would not do so, the SpaceX founder remarked in response.

Trump stated his belief in the autonomy of the states on abortion laws in April. The campaign that Biden and Harris ran at the time was unyielding.

“Elon Musk can Google it: Donald Trump wants to ban abortion nationwide, allow his allies to ban medication abortion and contraception,

and use the power of the government to harass and punish women,” said James Singer, a spokesperson for Trump.

Voters must decide whether to enable radical politicians to meddle in medical decision-making and strip away liberties or to codify Roe v. Wade and safeguard women’s basic rights.
