“A giant, naked woman blocking the proud, iconic Ferry Building is a perfect metaphor for San Francisco these days.”
But conservatives weren’t the only ones who reacted negatively.
Arts editor Sarah Hotchkiss stated in a KQED column titled “Nobody Asked for This,” “Looking up at this enormous steel and mesh sculpture on Thursday, I felt ashamed for the city of San Francisco.
