Employees at the Washington, D.C., airport were fired for allegedly leaking crash footage.

Two employees of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority were taken into custody for allegedly providing the media with surveillance.

Footage of the fatal mid-air collision between a military helicopter and an American Airlines passenger airliner last week.

On January 31, Mohamed Lamine Mbengue, 21, of Maryland, was taken into custody and accused with computer trespassing.

A representative for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority said that he was jailed and released on his own recognizance.
