Debbi Wood and Steve discussed the intricacies of their relationship with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on an edition of ITV’s This Morning in 2013.
Some have called Debbi the “world’s most jealous woman,” and she said that Steve’s casual comment about taking a lie detector test to establish
his innocence was the inspiration for the concept. Debbi bought a lie detector device after this seemingly harmless remark inspired an idea in her head.
At first, there was a lot of distrust between them since Steve had dated someone else while their relationship status was unclear.
Even though they eventually made a pact to be exclusive, Debbi still felt hatred against Steve, which made her jealous and led her to conduct lie detector tests and review his bank and phone records when he got home.
