While questions regarding the shooting took up most of the session, other subjects covered the FBI’s diversity initiatives, election interference, the riot that occurred at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, and whether or not Wray had personally noticed any cognitive decline in his meetings with Biden before he decided to step down as an election candidate.
Trump was unhappy by Wray’s response that he had not seen any problems with the president’s mental health, and the Republican candidate demanded that Wray step down.
