Facebook’s fact-checkers were incorrect five times.

Facebook fact-checks have been discontinued, according to Mark Zuckerberg, who said the labels meant to alert users to bogus news have “destroyed more trust than they have created.”

Since the program’s inception in 2016, Facebook has collaborated with over 100 independent fact-checkers across many nations.
