Fans accuse JoJo Siwa’s mother of ‘abuse’ after the release of a video that shows her kid engaging in a’scary’ beauty regimen.

Many have voiced their disapproval of Jessalynn for bleaching her daughter JoJo’s hair, citing her young age as the reason.

It was discovered in April that Jojo Siwa’s mother has been whitening her hair since she was two years old, and that Jojo isn’t a natural blonde.

A respondent asked, “Don’t you think this is similar to abuse?”
“Can you imagine how damaging all that bleaching and wearing her hair in a high pony for years is,” another person said.

An additional person said: “Y’all are talking about hair damage but uh.. I think it might be a bit more serious than that.”

As a general guideline, one should wait until they are sixteen years old before dyeing their hair.
Dermatologist Sejal Shah, MD, of New York City,

said that children shouldn’t have their hair bleached until they are “at least 16” years old since their hair is continuously growing till they reach adolescence.

The Independent said that she: “I really don’t think it’s safe to dye or bleach a child’s hair until after puberty, and ideally not until their late teens – at least 16.”
