A stunning thriller starring a who’s who of Netflix has already topped the platform’s most-watched film list, to the praises of admirers.
For the last two years, Anne Hathaway has been quite busy. She has acted as Solène in The Idea of You,
Rebecca in the movie version of Ottessa Moshfegh’s book Eileen, and alongside Peter Dinklage in She Came to Me.
The 41-year-old also acted in a psychological drama earlier this year, which marked Benoît Delhomme’s directorial debut.
Supporters have praised Hathaway’s “sensational” performance as Céline in the film, while others have praised Jessica Chastain, her co-star and another Oscar winner, for her “great job” as Alice.
