After a measles patient visited multiple tourist destinations, a health notice was issued in Queensland.
While traveling about the area, the visitor, who had recently traveled from overseas to Australia, was afflicted with the illness.
According to the Metro North Public Health Unit, “the case was unknowingly infectious as they traveled around Brisbane, Gold Coast.
And Sunshine Coast between Wednesday, April 2, 2025, and Saturday, April 5, 2025, visiting several businesses and locations.”
