Floyd Mayweather’s abilities in the ring are unquestionable; as a manager, at least, he dismissed the referee during his boxing match against John Gotti III and brought in new eyes when he didn’t agree with a call.
The battle on Saturday night in Mexico City was a much-anticipated rematch, even if it was just an exhibition. The second round’s action, or rather lack thereof, had fans unimpressed.
Floyd had uncorked a hit to the back of Gotti’s head that Gotti claimed was an illegal rabbit punch. Mayweather, 47, became enraged and began waving at referee Hector Afu,
telling him to leave the ring after he was punished for a right hook. The fighter and the referee had a short argument before Afu stormed out of Dodge!
