Following a collapse on stage, “Fatman Scoop” Isaac Freeman III passed away at the age of 53.

It follows TMZ’s claim that Freeman passed out on stage during Friday’s performance at a Town Center Park event in Hamden, Connecticut.

In the video, Scoop can be heard telling the audience to “make some noise” before collapsing behind a DJ booth.

According to the publication, the hip-hop artist was seen doing CPR after a medical crisis. And then someone was seen carrying him out on a stretcher.

Later, according to the Daily Mail, Hamden Mayor Lauren Garett announced that the celebrity had been

taken by ambulance to a local hospital, asking supporters to “keep him in your thoughts and prayers”.
