Following a collapse on stage, “Fatman Scoop” Isaac Freeman III passed away at the age of 53.

“God bless you, dear buddy. You shall always be a part of our hearts. RIP, Fatman Scoop, also known as Isaac Freeman III.”

Since then, admirers have showered the post with congratulations; one wrote: “Awful! How tragic it is to lose a legend like that.

Scoop’s hits “Put Your Hands Up” and “Be Faithful” are perhaps his most well-known ones. He also had cameo appearances on

Missy Elliott’s and Mariah Carey’s 2005 songs “Lose Control” and “It’s Like That.” At this difficult moment, our sympathies are with Freeman’s friends, family, and fans.
