Milwaukee − A door issue caused the Republican vice presidential contender, JD Vance,’s aircraft to make an emergency landing in Milwaukee on Friday soon after takeoff, according to the Trump campaign.
Shortly after takeoff, the Boeing 737 returned to Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, where an issue was resolved,
according to a statement from the campaign’s spokesman, Taylor Van Kirk. After that, the aircraft took off toward Cincinnati on its intended course.
