The Major Crimes Unit will continue to work in tandem with the District 21 Medical Examiner’s Office for the duration of the investigation. The bereaved family of Valdes said on the Finding Arielle Valdes Facebook page,
“It’s with a heavy heart that we share the loss of our dear Arielle, whose vibrant personality and gentle soul brought so much light into the lives of those who knew her.”
Words cannot explain how very saddened we are, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family and friends at this unbearable time.
Arielle was a gift, and everyone who had the good fortune to know her will always treasure her memories.
