According to sources who spoke to PEOPLE after her passing, Trachtenberg had just had a liver transplant and could have had difficulties.
Trachtenberg had been “really really down emotionally” and had “told friends she was struggling” during the last year, according to a different source who spoke to PEOPLE.

In January 2024, Trachtenberg uploaded a photo on Instagram and responded to criticism about her attractiveness, despite the health issues.
