The ‘Freedom’ song was featured in a new advertisement launched by the Harris/Walz campaign on Monday, August 19, with actor Jeffrey Wright providing the narration.

However, Trump has faced criticism previously for utilizing musicians’ songs without their consent.

At a Montana presidential campaign event earlier this summer, the former president played Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” and showed a video of the singer serenading the assembly.

But Dion’s team objected to the song’s usage and asked the former president to stop utilizing any of her songs going forward when it was aired without permission.
